Gen Z Careers Research – Interactive Panel Discussion with the ISE

In November 2023, Amberjack and Springpod set out to find the latest set of aspirations, expectations and challenges these students are facing. From understanding when they started thinking about their career, which channels they use to communicate, what content is most helpful, to the importance of role models. With over 2,600 responses, this research provided some incredible insight including:

• 67% believe cost of living and salary will impact their career
• 62% turn to parents and guardians for career advice and support
• 78% are influenced by the working environment of a potential career
• 49% stated that they don’t have a career role model

Jo Bishop, Schools Lead at Springpod will be joined on the panel by members of the Amberjack Gen Z Advisory Board who will delve into these findings in more detail and explore how employers can build effective strategies to support students as they start their career research.  We will provide time for a direct Q&A with our panel as well as providing a set of actionable takeaways of organisations attending.
