Our Social Impact

At Amberjack we believe in creating a world where positive change is not just a vision but a reality. Our commitment to social impact drives everything we do, from our daily operations with candidates and clients to our long-term strategic goals.

We are committed to enabling a future where every employer can reach and engage talent, where every candidate, regardless of background, is empowered to find their ideal career path and be supported to succeed. This report forms part of our broader ESG strategy.

As an organisation, we understand the important role we play in delivering long-term meaningful change within society. Aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we have identified where we build and deliver strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality and spur economic growth.

This year we were proud to be winners in the Diversity in Technology category at the Thames Valley Tech and Innovation Awards. Visit our awards page to find out more.

Empowering women into meaningful employment

Supporting females to access their future careers and realising their ambition is a core focus for Amberjack clients. We help organisations to build tailored attraction strategies to better engage female candidates. In addition, we support them to design inclusive, bias free recruitment processes and using our proprietary assessment technology ensure these females are provided with the right support and given the best possible chance for success.

Helping businesses grow through inclusive employment practices, with a focus on young people

As a trusted partner we place a strong emphasis on guiding our clients to the right solutions and ensuring we can provide them with the latest insight on trends in our sector.

We have developed our Gen Z Advisory Board to help both Amberjack and our clients better understand and support the next generation in the workforce. Our annual Insights Reports also provide deep insight and benchmarking data for our clients and the broader industry.

Reducing inequality in hiring, specifically through the through lens of ethnicity and social mobility

Whilst improving the gender balance in hiring across early careers programmes has been a priority for some time, the focus is shifting to ethnicity and social mobility. In our latest Insights research, 32% employers report that ethnicity is their top priority, 25% state social mobility and 18% report that it is gender. Whilst all our solutions are built with a diversity first approach, it is also important to understand that not all under-represented groups present with the same challenges.

Measuring Our Impact
