From October through to late April, we experience a sharp peak in demand for our recruitment outsourcing services. This coupled with our continued growth means we are building a pool of talent associates who can support across several of our client accounts, clients like PwC, Jaguar Land Rover and Virgin Media O2.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced team, your role will involve supporting towards the end of the recruitment process at in-person and virtual assessment centres. This may involve helping to facilitate the day or assessing the candidates themselves. This is a critical role that not only helps to ensure the most relevant and best-matched candidates are successful but also it is a key part of the process for candidates to understand more about the organisation and role they are applying for.

Providing an outstanding experience for all candidates is central to all our campaigns. You will receive full training on the Amberjack assessing/facilitation standards, how to navigate our Digital Assessment Centre platform (if it is being used), and the content of the assessment centre. It will also be key for you to gain a deep understanding of the client you are representing and be able to answer questions in a timely and accurate manner.

Who we're looking for

Due to the importance of this role and the part you will play in selecting the right candidates, we are searching for individuals who have experience within an HR or recruitment role and ideally experience facilitating and assessing assessment events. In addition to this you’ll need:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • To be motivated by providing great service
  • The ability to follow policies and procedures
  • To be open to giving and receiving feedback
  • To learn new technologies at pace
  • access to your own personal secure laptop or computer
  • Your own professional indemnity and third party liability insurances (we can discuss further if you are not familiar with these requirements

Why work for us?

You will be self-employed, which means this role will allow you to balance your own commitments! You can select the number of campaigns and hours you are able to support with– all we ask is a minimum of 10 hours a week. Pay will be dependent both upon experience and the work undertaken, but the minimum rate will be £200 per day.
