Hot on the back of winning four Recruiter Awards, we’re proud to be the front cover and main feature in Recruiter magazine.

Our very own Chief Executive, Cynthia Bostock, and Managing Director of Resourcing Solutions, Cassie Sissons, can be seen gracing the cover of the magazine this month.

Inside, Recruiter says of us that we’ve “clearly not yet come down from the buzz of the evening that saw them, their team and their clients take to the stage not once, not twice but four times.” Recruiter is so right!

With Awards for Best Apprenticeship/School Leaver Recruitment Strategy – won in partnership with Morrisons, Best Candidate Experience with Mars, Recruitment Industry Supplier of the Year, and Best Outsourced Recruitment Organisation, the judges were clearly impressed, with one group praising the company’s “great end-to-end [Morrison’s] campaign that is embedded in the business and built for the long term”.

It’s a fantastic achievement not only for our clients but for the entire Amberjack team. The Awards judges noted how solutions were tailored to specific client needs. Sophie Meaney, Managing Director, Consulting Solutions, explains how attracting and identifying Unilever’s (winner of Recruiter’s Innovation Award the previous year) digitally intelligent target candidates involved showcasing that digital capability through a lot of automation and gamification. However, for Morrison’s apprenticeships campaign, the emphasis was on “helping candidates understand what a career in retail really is through realistic job previews”

Meaney says one reason for Amberjack’s success is its focus on what it does best. “We’re clear we are not all things to all people: we are future talent and campaign-based volume recruitment specialists. That is what we do day in, day out and we don’t believe anybody understands that better – clients benefit from that level of subject matter expertise.

“We don’t compromise on quality and so we’re not right for everybody, but where we are a natural fit is in areas where clients, often with very strong consumer brands to protect, do really value that candidate experience enough to invest in it.”
