Volume Hiring at Scale: Where Technology Ends and Humans Begin
Wednesday 22nd July | 12.30-13.30 BST – OnlineÂ
Volume hiring has never been more complex. More applications, more automation, more pressure to move fast – yet many organisations are seeing diminishing returns.
In this online session, we explored how to take back control. Where technology can streamline and scale process, and where Human insight is essential to drive quality, fairness and better hiring outcomes.
Solutions Director Jared Massey led a panel of experts as they shared practical strategies for designing high-volume hiring journeys that are faster, smarter, and built for today’s candidate behaviours
Presenters:Â
Jared Massey – Solutions & Delivery Director for Amberjack Global, specialising in Volume and Experienced Hire solutions. Jared has been in senior leadership roles within Talent Acquisition for more than 18 years.
Previous to Amberjack Jared worked in Client Delivery Director roles for 15 years, delivering projects and large-scale enterprise partnerships both locally and globally, as well as previous stints in-house as a Head of Resourcing. He lives in the Peak District and enjoys walking in the hills, fine dining and golf.
Panelists:Â
Andrew Grier – CookieDog Talent
Andrew has spent most of his career helping organisations improve people outcomes, often using Talent Acquisition as the catalyst for wider change. He’s industry agnostic and has worked across FTSE 100 businesses and PE-backed scale-ups, combining data-led thinking with practical delivery to solve hiring and workforce challenges that impact growth, cost and performance. He believes people, relationships and kindness are still at the heart of great businesses and is happiest spending time with family, enjoying a good coffee or a good beer.
Claire Wiseman – Head of Talent Acquisition – EurocellÂ
Claire’s varied career has spanned agency ownership, Talent Acquisition Consultancy, and, for the past 9 years, leading in-house Talent Acquisition Teams. That breadth has shaped how she views T.A. today; not as a support function, but as a strategic driver of business performance, and an enabler to commercial success.
Claire is particularly interested in the intersection between recruitment excellence and commercial impact. My focus is on building and developing scalable functions that are genuinely aligned to business outcomes and commercial reality; scalable by design, data-informed in decision-making, and enabled by technology that adds value rather than complexity.
James Atkins – Director of Talent Acquisition – CumminsÂ
James is a senior talent acquisition leader with global experience leading recruitment strategy across major organisations, including Cummins, Caterpillar, and Barclays. Currently EMEA Director of Talent Acquisition at Cummins Inc., he specialises in driving transformation, change management, and large-scale hiring initiatives, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and delivering impactful talent solutions.
