Double innovation delight at ABP Workforce Awards

“Excellence in Tech Innovation” and “Judges’ award for Innovation” wins.

What a night at The Association for Business Psychology (ABP) Workforce Experience Awards! We’re very proud to not only have won the much-coveted Innovative Technology Award but capped an outstanding night by taking home the Judge’s Award for Innovation.

Now in its fourth year The ABP Workforce Experience Awards offer a unique and distinctive platform for the celebration of excellence in applying psychology to organisations and their workforces.

The Excellence in Using Innovative Technology Award showcases how psychology and tech combine to drive fundamental changes and deliver outstanding business results. “Student Recruitment Reimagined” for PwC was recognised by the judges as the standout winner. A true innovation that left one of the judging panel to comment that although solutions hadn’t really changed in the last 15 years, he was pleased to say that now, “things are changing, and innovation is happening!”

The design of the new innovative recruitment process combined leading-edge tech with robust psychology and strength of science. AI, machine learning, automation, data-driven insights and predictions were integrated to form a seamless recruitment process that delivered an immersive candidate journey. Not only was the new process efficient, effective and engaging but it delivered outstanding results across all key KPIs for registrations, applications, stage progression, pass/success rates, diversity, candidate experience, feedback comments, offers accepted/declined, and time-to-hire.

An outstanding night was rounded off by winning the Judges’ Award for Innovation, based on all the ABP Workforce entries. Congratulations to PwC and our fantastic and highly talented assessment team.
