The RIDI (Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative) awards celebrate those actions that really do speak louder than words. 

    In partnership with GSK, we’re proud to be shortlisted for the Reasonable Adjustments in Recruitment Award that recognises innovation in the provision of candidate care.

    By driving change in recruitment and removing the barriers faced by the millions of disabled people who are entering or progressing through the job market, the experience candidates receive is more important than ever before. Making adjustments to all aspects of the recruitment process is not only the law, it is vital to the successful attraction and selection of disabled talent, while maintaining high levels of support at every step of recruitment. We didn’t just comply with the Equality Act, we wanted to go beyond that to actively encourage people with disabilities to find roles within GSK by delivering more than just transactional support. For those that required additional support, we offered a range of extra coaching to understand what they needed and how it was possible for them to complete the assessments with no adverse impact. For those with more complex requirements, we made it easy to request adjustments. We built trust by being honest, open and transparent about recruitment and achieved outstanding levels of candidate care.
